Glow & Lovely Bintang Beasiswa

Glow & Lovely Bintang Beasiswa is a scholarship program for young Indonesian women who have graduated from high school and aspire to pursue higher education at state universities (Perguruan Tinggi Negeri/PTN). The scholarship is designed for highly motivated students with strong academic or non-academic achievements and a passion for contributing to society, but face financial challenges

Since 2017, Glow & Lovely Bintang Beasiswa has supported 485 young women from various regions across Indonesia in achieving their higher education dreams.

Scholarship Categories & Eligibility

  • Regular Program
    1. Final-year female high school students or last 3 years high school graduates (year 2025, 2024, 2023) who plan to enroll in a state university in the same year as their scholarship application.
    2. Must apply to at least one of the following state university admission programs: (1) SNMPTN / SNMPN / SPAN PTKIN; and/or SBMPTN / SBMPN / UM PTKIN
    3. Must be an Indonesian citizen (WNI) from any province in Indonesia.
    4. Demonstrates academic and/or non-academic potential (achievement certificates, if available, are encouraged).
    5. Has a clear study plan and a strong vision for contributing to society.
    6. Commits to completing studies at the chosen university.
  • Partial Program
    1. Current undergraduate (S1) or applied undergraduate (D4) students in their 4th or 6th semester at a state university with a minimum accreditation of B.
    2. Must be an Indonesian citizen (WNI) from any province in Indonesia.
    3. Demonstrates academic potential, proven by a transcript or Study Result Card (Kartu Hasil Studi/KHS).
    4. Has a plan or essay outlining ideas for contributing to society.
    5. Commits to completing studies on time and remaining unmarried during the scholarship period.

Selection Process
Glow & Lovely Bintang Beasiswa selection process consists of document and essay screening, online interview, and online home visit.

Through the GAL BB Scholarship, I gained a growing circle of family and friends. I have also become an outstanding student, receiving Asian Youth Exchange scholarship awardee to Singapore, and awardee Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) at Hiroshima University. All of those achievements  would not have been possible without the help of the GAL BB Scholarship!
